Carico’s Espresso Roast is a rich and full blend of Bugisu Arabica with Robusta added for crema and body. The coffee is hand-picked and wet processed to create a clean flavour and consistent profile before being expertly roasted by hand in South Africa to create an articulated blend with memorable aroma and taste. The medium roast results in a balanced and smooth taste.

This is a hand pulped single origin AA arabica coffee grown on the slopes of Mt. Elgon in eastern Uganda at an altitude of over 1300 metres above sea level in rich volcanic loam soils, which create a medium body coffee with low acidity. The coffee is hand picked and wet processed to create a clean flavour and a consistent profile. The tasting notes for our Bugisu Blue are dried plum and lemon lime with notes of chocolate and almonds.
